Ushering in the next generation of indoor client bridges with access point functionality is the ECB-8610S by EnGenius. With the quality and functionality expected of an EnGenius product, the ECB-8610S provides up to 600mW of high wireless output power and also adds advanced features such as SNMP management, Wireless Distribution System (WDS)and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) capability. The ECB-8610S is the perfect solution for any application you might have.

On the exterior the new ecb-8610s looks the same as the standard ecb-8610 one Ethernet one RP-TNC antenna port and a 12v power input.The one difference is a new compact 12v 3a power brick it is about 1/2 the size and weight as the previous unit.  The ECB-8610S has both client bridge and access point modes and also supports POE via an optional 48v injector.
